Things Could Be a Lot Worse

I no longer have to attend “churches” like this one, and if I go to Confession frequently and faithfully and sincerely do all of my Penances, perhaps I never will again.

Doctor Spock of the Starship Enterprise died for you, to save you from bondage to Klingons and death.
That explains why the cross lacks a corpus; he was beamed up by Scottie at the command of Captain James T Kirk.

The meteorite altar is a sign that Doctor Spock was part alien, and part human; a fact absolutely essential for understanding the great sacrament:
