Insight Scoop

I’ve just come across a smart blog at Ignatius Press called Insight Scoop, apparently written, for the most part, by Carl Olson. Yesterday it featured a post about a possible re-union between some Anglicans and Rome. Mr. Olson is surely right when he speculates that the possibility of re-unification is perhaps being overstated in the press, but the story is still an interesting one. You can read it here.

Thanks, Scott, for the link. I discovered your blog a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it, especially your insights into numerous philosphical topics.

I’m no expert on Catholic-Anglican dialogue, but to me there is one major problem standing in the way of re-unification: the fact that Anglicans cannot even agree among themselves about key doctrinal issues. On the positive side, it would seem that those Anglicans who are tired of the endless nonsense and desire ecclesial stability will see that the time to come back to Rome is nigh. Such is my prayer.
