Coming Up To Speed

Now that I’ve finally gotten the Martyrology back in place, An Examined Life is finally beginning to look pretty much the way it used to look over at Blogger, and I just want to take a moment publicly to thank Lee Anderson for all the help in getting things here up to speed. Lee has really gone the extra mile for me, and I heartily recommend to all Catholic bloggers to consider switching to the StBlogs community if you haven’t already done so–if my experience is any indication, you’ll get all the help you’ll need getting your blog to work the way you want, without the hassles of Certain Other Providers.

    At the risk of sounding cheap and tight-fisted, let me ask this cheap and tight-fisted question: is StBlogs free, like my version of Blogger?

    Sure, blogger has its problems, (anonying at times) but I get more than I paid for. However, if Stblogs is better AND free….

    I am a little biased, as I am the System Administrator…..

    Yes, StBlogs.com is in fact completely free. In fact, it is our desire to eventually reward our bloggers with (money…) based on the popularity of their blogs.

    By “Better than Blogger” I am referring to our customer service and willingness to work directly with our bloggers to perform tasks like:

    -move their blogger posts and pictures over to stblogs.com (we do the work for you — for Free)

    -find and install additional Widgets, Modules and features (— for Free) - you would NEVER get this type of support from Blogger

    -customize templates so you have a site that is unique (again, Blogger does not even come close)

    Etc, Etc. Free Yes. Better, You bet. just ask around.
